WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE HISTORY? AND WHAT IS YOUR JOURNEY TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I have been in the Hairdressing industry for 11 years working as an NVQ qualified Stylist and colour technician for the past 8. Once completing my apprenticeship I moved to London to further my training and education working for franchises such as Headmasters and Toni & Guy as well as various independent salons.
Over the past 5 years I have been privileged to work as a session stylist and personal Hairdresser to the Boyband Union J working in TV, on photoshoots, music videos and on their tours whilst also working as a salon based Stylist.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT FROM THE OTHERS?
I am a passionate and creative hairdresser who is a perfectionist when it comes to their job my main goal is seeing a client happy with my work. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my existing skills as the industry is always moving forward I think it is key to stay on trend and up to date with current styles & colours and like to push myself to ensure I achieve the best results.
WHAT EDUCATION HAVE YOU RECEIVED IN THE LAST TWO YEARS?
- Creative colouring, Balayage and Ombré techniques course at the L’Oréal Training academy.
- Olaplex education and training.
- HD Brows Makeup Artistry course
WHAT IS YOUR TOP TIP?
When changing the shape of your hair through heat styling or blow drying let the hair cool down before dressing out, this will allow the style to set in place making it last longer. To keep your blowdry looking at its best till the next day tip your head upside down and twist into a loose bun on top of your head whilst you sleep this will keep the volume and your hair will bounce straight back into the shape you created.
